Sophie and I had a day for ourselves with no little sister on Friday. Mom and Lillie brought Sophie to meet me at the library, then the two of us took the EmX bus to the University and walked to the Natural History museum. We enjoyed the nice hands on display about color and light, then moved to the “young scientist room” set up with drawing boards and special kid interest displays.

Sophie loved the replica of the Oregon Meteorite outside the door.

Sophie and I walked to the really nice cafe at the art museum, but it was closed for spring break so we walked back to the EMU and invited dad to join us for lunch.

After lunch we caught the EmX back to my house where Sophie picked a bouquet of flowers for her mom.

Lillie was very glad to see her big sister when Sophie got home.
