I got to take Sophie to her first women’s basketball game on February 3rd. Lillie didn’t go with us, but she was dressed as a little Oregon duck when I showed up with a yellow sweatshirt, beads and an “O” face decal for Sophie. It was an exciting game with the ducks holding on to beat USC. Several treats and a half-time show featuring little kids who had been at “cheerleader camp,” kept Sophie interested enough to sit through the whole game and want to go to another one. We went again yesterday with Shad, Becky and Lillie going too. The ducks lost to Stanford, but it was still fun and Lillie was mesmerized by the game (too bad I forgot my camera yesterday, but I did have it with me on the 3rd.)
